Luigi is a qualified lawyer and passionate community leader committed to delivering essential services in the north eastern suburbs of Wright.
Well known for his involvement with community and sporting groups, Luigi has a strong understanding of local issues of concern to people and organisations in the area as well as the things that make the north east a great place to live and work.
Luigi is an energetic and passionate member of the Marshall Liberal Team who will fight against the reduction of services at Modbury Hospital and will protect the emergency department which is relied on by people of all ages who live in the area.
His leadership skills and empathy for people will ensure he becomes a strong voice in the north east and stands up for the issues that matter to people in the community, including the elderly, families and small business owners striving to get ahead.
Luigi’s work in Government and legal background, has given him a focus on law and order wanting to create a safer place for people to work and live, and tackling drug abuse head on. He is also committed to improved recreational facilities and roads, as well as reducing the cost of living pressure for all.
Improving health services in the north east of Adelaide and creating a safer and more vibrant community will be a priority for the Marshall Liberal Team and Luigi Mesisca.
About Wright
The seat of Wright was named after Edmund Wright, (1824-1888), who designed Adelaide Town Hall and Edmund Wright House in King William Street - formerly the Union Bank. Wright, a Mayor of Adelaide in 1859, was recognised as Adelaide's most eminent 19th century architect who influenced the classical revival style of architecture in the city. He was also one of the designers of Parliament House in Melbourne.
To the northeast of Adelaide, Wright includes the suburbs Brahma Lodge, Gulfview Heights, Modbury Heights, Redwood Park, the southern portion of Salisbury East, Salisbury South, the southern portion of Surrey Downs and Wynn Vale.
